Fab@CIC's COVID-19 Response

28784-image-asset.jpeg

In response to the shortage of medical supplies and PPE (personal protective equipment) in medical centers, Fab@CIC is fabricating open source PPE items in coordination with other Boston-area makerspaces.

They’re currently making hundreds of protective face masks and distributing them to high-risk groups in our greater Boston community. The current priority is to help our local frontline heroes by providing PPE that is validated for medical settings and to share clear information with individuals and facilities that wish to help.

They’ve reached the initial goal of 1000 masks in April, so they’ve upped their goal to 3000! To donate towards the cost of materials, click here.
