Contribute to the UXPA Boston Blog

We at UXPA Boston are excited to announce the launch of our new blog. We are actively seeking guest writers to contribute insightful and informative articles on a wide range of UX-related topics. As a professional association for UX practitioners, we strive to promote knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and growth within the industry.

We welcome proposals for blog posts on a variety of topics, including accessibility, design strategy, design’s impact on social and economic issues, design systems, research methods, emerging technology such as AI, AR, and VUI, expert tips in tools of the trade, career advice for designers, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the UX industry, and DesignOps. We are particularly interested in pieces that provide valuable and actionable information to our readers and showcase the expertise and experience of our guest writers.

Our blog is a platform for thought-provoking and inspiring content that engages our community and contributes to the advancement of the UX field. We believe that diversity and inclusion are essential to the growth and development of the industry, and we welcome submissions from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

If you have a topic that you are passionate about and would like to share your insights and expertise with our community, we encourage you to submit a proposal for a blog post. Our team will work with you to refine your ideas and ensure your piece meets our editorial standards.

In addition to guest writers, we are also interested in featuring interviews with leaders in the UX industry, book reviews, event recaps, and other relevant content that adds value to our readers.

By contributing to our blog, you will have the opportunity to showcase your thought leadership, share your experiences, and contribute to the growth and development of the UX community. If you are interested in writing for us, please contact us with your proposal or any questions you may have.

We look forward to hearing from you and working together to create a vibrant and engaging blog that reflects the diverse and dynamic nature of the UX industry!

Introducing the New UXPA Boston Website!

We are excited to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website, uxpaboston.org!

Our team has been working hard to update and refresh our site to serve our community better and provide a more user-friendly experience. We are pleased to highlight two major new features: an updated job board and the addition of a new blog.

Our job board has been completely revamped with new features, making it easier for job seekers to find relevant job opportunities in the UX field. The job board is open to all employers who are looking to fill positions related to UX, and it’s free to post job openings for our community. We encourage members to use this new feature and check for new job opportunities.

We are also excited to introduce a new blog, which will feature articles and insights from members of our community and other industry professionals. Our blog will cover various UX-related topics, including design, research, strategy, and more. This new addition will provide valuable resources and insights for our members.

We want to thank Branch Media for their help in building and launching our new website. Their expertise and support were instrumental in making this redesign possible, and we are grateful for their partnership. I also want to thank Lisa Spitz, who concluded her tenure on the UXPA Boston board, and Ankita Dutta, our new website director, for all their work and dedication in helping make this website redesign happen.

We invite you to check out our new website and explore all the new features.

We welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have as we continue to improve and grow our community.

Announcing the ADPList Scholarship Fund

Closing out Q1, ADPList announced its Scholarship Fund today. We believe education is the best investment one can make so we want to support it.

What is this fund?

Annually, ADPList hosts 2 premier flagship events (Product Day and BeMore Festival).

To afford the costs, we price it inclusively at $5-$10 per ticket. But we know, not everyone can afford it.

For every ticket donated by donors, adplist.org will fund it alongside nominations of members of the global community.

In turn, empowering more learners.
