Support SoTA this Giving Tuesday

Over the past months the entire world has been coming together to stand up, give back, and heal. With 2021 — and the years to come — in mind, the Society of Typographic Aficionados is participating in GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and giving. With your help, we can stay on track with our goals and our mission.

SoTA exists to provide affordable education for its members and participants. We aim to further the development of type, typographical information and typography, and appreciate the many attributes of type, typography, design, the book arts, and calligraphy on all levels. Furthermore, SOTA is committed to sponsoring relevant topics in pursuit of these goals through our annual conference, TypeCon, held in a different host city each year.

We can’t do this without you. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Mark your calendar. GivingTuesday is December 1st.

  2. Give. On December 1st, go to our site and donate.

  3. Spread the word. Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating real impact by supporting this community. Sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization proves the importance of promoting the study of type, its history, and its development. Make sure to use hashtag #GivingTuesday and mention @typesociety on Twitter so we can share as well.

Join the movement today! Every contribution allows us to continue our mission of giving back to our community and celebrating the artistry and craft of typography in its many forms.

Thank you for supporting SOTA and TypeCon.
