How might we enable students to become social entrepreneurs?
Role: UI & UX Design, Research (AIGA)
Looking to design new systems or strengthen existing programs that cultivate and support social entrepreneurship as a viable career path, the focus was on high schoolers, adopting a mission to create and sustain social value.
Experience maps were created. Teachers, counselors, entrepreneurs, students, and parents were interviewed and surveyed. On-site observations were conducted with coach/player relationships and teen mentorship programs. Prototypes were tested on-site.
We decided on a program/game called SERVED. Students access SERVED at their lunch tables, with a planned to allow later interaction through supporting digital interfaces. An action plan was formed for roll-out and implementation.
